Mykola Polishchuk

MYKOLA POLISHCHUK
Mykola was born in 1951 in Ukraine. In 1980 in Lviv, he graduated from the Insitute of Applied and Decorative Arts, Interior and Furniture Design Department. Mykola worked as an artist-carver in the furniture industry. He designed and sculted 20 iconostases for churches in Ukraine. In 1995, Mykola moved to Canada. He designs and executes his own projects specializing in carving wooden sculptures, frames and decorative architectural elements. His creations can be found in public and private buildings in Europe, the United States and Canada. Mykola’s latest commissions was an iconostasis for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity in Buffalo, New York.
